Van Halen played for a select group of journalists and VIP's at New York City's tiny Cafe Wha and they not only killed it, they debuted a new song from their forthcoming A Different Kind Of Truth album.

  • just listened to the album and its not their best but not bad either.eddie and alex sound pretty good and wolfgang (unless eddie played the bass lines) does well too.there were parts where it would have been cool to hear mikes backround vocals and dave does fairly decent in a studio.overall about a 3 out of 5.

  • Lets face it, who wouldn't want to see Van Halen on tour with Chickenfoot? Especially if we could see EVH and Satriani duel it out as a bonus.

  • @bluesrckn - Sammy Hagar quoted "If you want my honest opinion Eddie should be the instrumentalist and Joe should always have a singer because Joe’s the best musician".

  • Now please let Dave do his work and we are no one to accept or not Dave in the band. Dave like the others is a great singer and good entertainer and have is own style. Now we just have to enjoy and bless their return for the good or the bad. God save Van Halen.

  • Hello everyone. In here i´m gonna post my opinion and i´m not going to discuss it with anybody.

Van Halen first born with David Lee Roth wich was gold times. Then came Sammy Hagar witch was gold time too. With Gary Gerone was nice but i think is voice couldn´t support the style of music of Van Halen. Michael Anthony went away with Sammy for reasons we are nothing to do with it but that´s what happens in other bands. Van Halen must go on and we must give a chance to wolfie.

  • @metalman1767 yea, that oriental guy, what a toolbag

  • Its a lick from meanstreet. Classic VH- they wouldn't be there without Eddie....

  • This is NOT a new song people. Its been around since the mid 70s.

  • @garymacguyver What a come back....

  • Eddies son slash bassist...................THERE GOES WOLFGANG'S career
