If Baggio had come on sooner Italy may well have won this game.He wasn,t on long enough.
He was the only player in the whole tournament that troubled the French defence.

I am Italian but (after many years) I can say that France deserved to win that match.

Hey i'm frency and after many years i can not say french deserved to win the match. Why? Because it ended in PKs so we will never know who deserved to win the game. BUT the italians got their revenge in '06 when they won in PKs. So i guess they got their revenge.

On a souvent des équipes qui se valent entre Italie et France, notamment de très bons gardiens de but.

J'adore le Stade de France qui crie et qui voyait la ballon rentrer dans le but à 0:22. Et aussi l'explosion des supporters quand Barthez arrête le pénalty d'Albertini. Merci les Bleus de nous avoir fait vibrer <3

I would just like to say thank you for that wonderful shoot-out presentation. I am Italian and sad the Azzurri lost that game (we still beat you in '06 :P) but all the other shoot-out video I've seen have been 20 minutes long, because it has to show the players staring at the goalkeeper for a minute before they take the actual shot. This video was short, right down to the point. Again thank you
