Air Canada Landing followed by a Helo following a VIP Motorcade

Air Canada Landing in Halifax. While filming this I heard a Helicopter in the background, This coast guard Helicopter was acting as a gunship for a motorcade in Halifax, you will notice a united states of america airplane across the runway. In town for the International Security Forum. Maybe, Maclean was in this motorcade. Better yet you never know what you will see on the go at the Airport.

Nice clear days are the best. but knowing the active runway is the best. planes landing and taking off from runway 23 or 5 is best. The best way to find out how many takeoffs or landings look at the arrival and departure listing also there is a live camera on the hiaa site fyi.

Yes, we were here at the same time. I was standing on the roof of the Volvo. I don't have a radio to hear ATC like you do, though, so I could only guess what was going on.

I noticed you had an HD camera unlike me. Hopefully soon, though.

You took some really good shots though, Its to bad that thereisn't a higher vantage point to film from. Now the hill the tower is on would be good, if we were allowed to park there. Do you fly yourself.

Thanks. It's really too bad we can't park at the tower. From the staff parking lot up there we could see all of the other runway just as well as the one we use now.

Only if you count flight sim. I hope to go for my private license in the next year or two out of waterville. The cost and medical are the drawbacks with this. Around 15k for private.
