Flying the DC3 on a calm evening, doing flybys and touch&goes. It's a lot of fun to fly when it's set up right! :) I'll be trying some 3-bladed props as soon as they get here.
This should make a good camera platform. With the motors on the wings there is no prop to shoot through. I use a 2650 mah Sky Lipo 3 cell which adds a bit of nose weight and more stability. It used to be a bit tail heavy.
@dfarmercse Thanks Dave! I use a "hatcam" too! It's a Kodak Playsport camera though, and I use a little ball head adapter for a tripod that I mounted on my hat so I can adjust the camera angle. I had to keep aiming it up and down until I got it just right, and constanyly have to remind myself to track the plane with my head and not with my eyes... :)
