TV21's only TV appeareance was on BBC2's Old Grey Whistle Test, filmed at Riverside Studios on 30th November 1981 and broadcast the following week. The band performed two songs, "This is Zero" and "Ideal Way of Life," both tracks from their only album, "A Thin Red Line," producedby Ian Broudie.

I used to see this mob in London when I was a kid. Must have seen them about 15 times (including the Rainbow show supporting the Undertones; they put me on the guest list & I hung out back stage etc). They were a really nice bunch & one of the bands who inspired me to become a musician (Sex Gang Children etc). Good to see this although not my fave. P.S, there are a few singles in one of the 2nd hand record shops in Berwick St (I can't remember which one, sorry)!

I live in bloody New Zealand. I thought i was the only fan of The Sound, Comsat Angels and TV21 in the world.

What happened with these.
I only have a 10" EP of theirs.
Their album " A Thin Red Line" was deleted when I tried to buy it.
Does anyone know where I can get this or if they are going to intend to record anything again. I love this band.

Saw these guys last night and they were very good, still a tight band.

Flaming eck! I saw these guys years ago as a support band to The Undertones who played at the Guildford Civic Hall .... how many years ago was that? (at least 25 - I hear you shout)
