STEREO CAPABLE: add &fmt=18 to the above URL.
Lindsey B is a major wizard of a singer, producer, guitarist, writer, and who knows what else, so long, long may his light shine. Maybe he used drop-D, I don't know, but here I'm in a closed-C tuning (the A string drops to G and the low E drops to C). What do I know? Oh yes, and I'm not singing LB's melody in the choruses, but hey, that's folk music for ya. Note the postproduction flourishes on this 'un.

  • I've seen a lot of versions of this one, but I keep coming back......could you do a slow instructional version for us hard core hackers??.....I've tried the others but haven't been real successful.....please!!!

  • @Danos62 OK, though you should know that Mr. Buckingham, whom I've had the pleasure of meeting a few times, does NOT play it as I do; I think he's in drop-D, whereas I use this closed-C tuning. (Unless I'm wrong, which is distinctly possible.) Anyway, give me a week or so---I'm on the road visiting family at present.

  • You've done it again, best version on the 'tube.

  • @goldhat3 Thank you, but no no no; the best versions on the 'tube are any of those played by the master himself, the wizard, the magnificent L. Buckingham. That amazing 4-finger roll in the right hand...also, after studying Lindsey's live performances of it, I know I have a long, long way to go to get close to the passion he puts into it.

  • @alonzogarbanzo Yes yes yes! You are one of the few guys on youtube that deserves to be playing a guitar as nice as that one. You've earned it. I am amazed at what you are doing with your one and two finger rolls. You should show us sometime.
