Saltana's story - Stolen

This interview was recorded in 2007, at the time Saltana was fighting in court to remain in Spain. When Saltana was 6, she was taken from Mauritania to the Polisario camps by Gueiwarra El Bardi, a 'white' woman. Saltana lived in the camps as the slave for El Bardi's family for the next 3 years. According to SOS Slaves, Saltana's biological mother was the slave of the grandmother of Gueiwarra El Bardi.
Saltana has now won the right to remain in Spain, she lives like any other teenager in the world, loves dancing, she is a very good student and plans to go to University.

Es totalmente falso, la gente que realmente conoce al pueblo saharaui, que viaja y convive con ellos sabe que el estado saharaui es el mas tolerante entre blancos y negros mujeres y hombre.... sabe que en los campamentos viven tanto blancos como negros, y que la diferencia entre los cuales es nula.

en los campamentos somo TODOS UNA GRAN FAMILIA, luchamos por los mismo, la LIBERTAD DE NUESTRA TIERRA. todo lo demas son intentos marroquies de manchar la imagen saharaui.

Un buen intento de manipulación para desprestigiar la causa saharaui. Desalmados hay en todos lados, y por su puesto hay que condenarlos, pero hay que ser cinico para hablar de un caso aislado de unos desalmados aleccionándolo con ´todo un pueblo con mas tintes democráticos que muchos países europeos que presumen de democracia y siendo permisivo con la trata de balnca que sucede en europa
