I've used my own photograph of a lantern from the official lantern lighting event to mark 1000 days of Madeleine being disappeared and another day closer to being found.

The paper lanterns were launched at 7.30pm British time from about 20 different locations, including Praia da Luz, Rothley and Mrs McCann's hometown of Liverpool. Over my picture I have superimposed the Simon Armitage poem, The Beacon.

The McCanns left three toddlers alone while they went out drinking. The only victim here is Madeleine.

Yes and they provided a reasonable level of care much the same as a drop in nanny service. The situation was no different to having a meal with friends in the garden while the children slept indoors.

However, your comment which often gets repeated by others, is negative and does nothing to help find Madeleine and has no place here where we are being positve for Madeleine not trying to solve the case!!

What's he afraid off? Probably getting bombarded with scores of ignorant, ill thought out, past their sell by date comments from people who live on council estates, draw bennefits, wear shell suits and are called Wayne or Waynetta, but that's just a guess.

This bloke is trying to do something decent, like keeping the hope that a missing innocent child may yet be found alive. Yet you and others have to constantly try and poison that hope. I have seen it a million times on the net. Why?

The video is for helping to keep Madeleine's profile high, expressing positive vibes and giving another link to the sites which provide practical and positive support for people to get involved in. Or for people who would like to provide helpful information to assist the search missing Madeleine.

Staying positive is the best gift that can be given to a missing person. Therefore negative comments will not be allowed.
