In 2009, this board ramrodded through Ordinance 884 that placed unconstitutional restrictions on protesters.

Last week, Mr. Buster referred to having been "stampeded into an unnecessary ordinance without any specific cause for it." He admitted that this board allowed an ordinance to pass through to purposely circumscribe First Amendment protesters' rights when the sheriff and everyone else involved testified they already had ample tools to deal with picketers.

Mr. Buster, I appreciate your honesty in admitting to this travesty, and I think you are doing the smart thing by getting on the right side of the fence ahead of any investigation whether its by the media or by a government agency. But until this board does something to fix this mess, I am holding all of you responsible for allowing the ramrodding of Ordinance 884 to become a law.

You Supervisors had no right to pass this ordinance. You circumscribed citizens rights that were fought for and carved out by men who valued liberty, who stood tall and straight and unwavering as they pledged their lives and fortunes and sacred honor to give all of us a free and independent America.

You had no right to ramrod Ordinance 884. You are JUST county supervisors, and it is not within your authority to trifle with the U.S. Constitution, the supreme law of the land. You are subverting our Constitution, America's greatest treasure.

I am holding this board all of you responsible for betraying the brave patriots who drafted the United States Constitution, and for betraying every American citizen whose rights you have abused, and, frankly, for betraying all the people who have not been able to get the help they need, because you Supervisors allowed yourselves to be stampeded by Mr. Stones personal agenda.

This should not be happening. I should not have to stand here and ask you to fix the mess that Mr. Stone dragged you all into. But if you dont have the guts to confront this situation, then I will.

My name is Julie Waltz, and I am a very proud American and Riverside County resident, and I am demanding for this board to repeal this unlawful ordinance which restricts freedom of speech.

Supervisors, you took a vow to uphold the United States Constitution when you were sworn into office. Please do not sidestep that vow. Honor your vow.
