This is the 1997-1998 Pembroke Hill School Varsity Boys Basketball highlight tape. It features JaRon Rush (#4) and Kareem Rush (#34) playing and little brother Brandon in the stands as a fan. JaRon was ranked by many as the best High School basketball player in the Country for the Class of 1998. Kareem and Brandon now both play in the NBA.

  • JaRon was alot more than raw coal, He was and still is the best high school basketball player the Kansas City area has ever seen.... 3 time DiRenna Award winner, and should've won it His freshman year as well... It's just too bad the wrong people got in His head... I still think the best thing that could've happened to Him would've been Roy Williams...

  • JaRon was raw coal, only needing some pressure to become a diamond. To bad that pressure broke him, he was the real TRUTH. I was there, seen it with my own eyes. Kareem is a pure shooter no more. Brandon well...........we just have to wait and see, now dont we. KCMO's FINEST

  • I played a summer with CMH. I got to see first hand how he could dominate a game against way better competition than he saw and Pembroke. Jaron was a beast. That is all.

  • Of course, they had to eventually forfeit their Missouri state championship!

  • @DolskiChamp2008 lol right on!

  • my cousin was the point gaurd DUNSON ... me i was in the standz er'game bitch !!

  • Thanks for posting this. I remember watching JaRon play ball from the time he was a freshman. Definitely the best player ever from KC and in the class of '98. Crazy watching him in the state games just stand there until they needed him. Seemed so effortless for him to score 30+ points a game. Just amazing!

  • @Mantooth690243 Probably couldve been Brandon Rush but he couldnt keep his act together and played in a system that was too flashy in Westport

  • I mean, shit Kareem is an N.B.A player and he just looks so pedestrian while he is on the court with JaRon. Rush must have had to have been showing up pretty drunk not to be dominating practices in the N.B.A
