1982 Chevy 4x4 4bt cummins on the dyno

This is Hot Dawgs 4bt powered Chevy 4x4. Its got POD's, pumps maxed, timing maxed, hy35/9cm, aftermarket intercooler and a DennyT Stage II fuel pin. It has 4:56 gears with 1 ton running gear..........it'll scoot down the road!!

It was at a place called "the car shop" in Killeen. They were stoked about it and loved seeing it run.

In South America you can get F250 and 350 pickups with a 4bt ISB cummins turbo diesel from the factory. Check out the ford site from argentina, the tube wont let me post it... Sorry, i'll keep tryin though without the dots. They can get better than 30mpg and have pleanty of power, wish we could get em here in the states, its the perfect truck if you ask me

Man if that thing had a hx35 or hw351e that thing would make way power. That 9cm housing is restricting it at even 170hp.

@fjoefourty The only reason they allow the sale of hybrids is that profits lost in fuel are made up in the sale of batteries... People keep clamoring for eco-friendly fuels when they are right under our noses! Bio diesel and ethanol could solve all our problems WITHOUT affecting food supplies! BP sure doesn't want anyone to know that though! Cheers Joe!

@DrMcelroy Forgive me if I am wrong, but it looks like the 16 valve 4BT ISB is the only engine available in the new Argentine F100 series. ??? What is wrong with this country? Most diesel passenger cars in Europe get double the economy of any electric hybrid. Environment and climate change aside...I want torque and efficiency. It's carbon neutral if you consume veggie oil. Seems to be counter intuitive to the most basic function of effective marketing and commerce, let alone energy consumption.
