i have a weird stance on the war in i iraq, i've enlisted for the marines and i think the war is just for same reasons as republicans but also if what ant-war ppl say is true i still believe its even more so just, if all we are doing over there is stealing oil then it would make us independent from OPEC and i see the world as a race to be on top, with unlimited oil cost of everything we produce will go down, economy will soar, and we wouldn't have to go to war ever again in forseeable future

war doesn't forge peace war creates destructions and famine and diseases.The aftermath of war is hunger, soldiers with post-war deformity. Infrastructure shattered, countries end up in recession and perhaps even depression. Glory is not in war my friend Glory is in the acceptance of peace and love. The money to fund these wars often comes from cutting social programs. The war in Iraq contributes to the war on the poor in America. If you look, I think you'll find that antiwar activists are far more concerned about poverty, police violence, and lack of a decent health care system than prowar groups. Besides, being a citizen of the US does not give your life more value than that of an Iraqi. To me, the death of an Iraqi child matters just as much as the death of an American child.
