The guitar tabs of metallica and bass tabs are way harder than alice in chains and Nirvana ...... Therefore some people prefer Metallica... I like these 3 bands along with many others equally because each one of them has their own style

@arkhampatient76 Hey its all Seattle rock in the late 80's early 90's. They both kick ass and have different eclectic sounds. I personally prefer Alice in Chains, however Nirvana is not overrated, Metallica is overrated, new Metallica for that matter.

Alice in Chains is the closest grunge ever got to metal! You simply can't deny Cantrell's riffs, or the heaviness of their music as a whole. And can I get a goddamn at that immaculate fucking vocal harmony! RIP Layne! Long live AIC!
