Awesome vid. Does the '88 have any aftermarket engine modifications? If not, what sort of power do you get out of it? I'm asking because I'm looking at one very similar and heard they had HP/power issues.

@XxWINxX94 the 88 is a tbi 318, just has shorty headers and straight pipes. makes about 260hp not bad for its age, never had a problem with it until the map sensor shit the bed, so we yanked it out and put in a 360 carb. great trucks to have!

@monsterj1j it does fine with the 265/70R16 tires and stock hight is bigger than the 88 with a lift.

@LinkedMooMan117117 Of course they are greating running motors, I'm not saying that. I was saying 260hp in a stock 318 engine is not right. More on the verge of 160-190 MAX. My 1999 360 is running about 250/330tq. An all I have is a exhaust and E3 Spark Plugs.

@1999DodgeSikSpak not with the old Chrystler 5.9's, they did a really good job on the motors in the 80's, i got an 82 W150 with a Chrystler 5.2, and its running like a champ, i was doing the same things as a 94 Chevy out in the boonies
