The Mercedes-Benz ML55 AMG seen here is called the Ultimate Arm, created by former USSR nuclear guidance system director Lev Yevstranov. It's painted matt black to minimize reflection. I'll render a guess the wheel covers are to prevent glare from the rain.

what do you mean with HD? I know Nolan and Pfister used 35mm and IMAX cameras for TDK, they didn't make the movie in digital.
