Frost/Nixon is directed by Ron Howard who is sure to get some attention come awards season. Frank Langella plays Richard Nixon and could very well get a Best Actor nomination along with Michael Sheen.

  • Langella's acting is monumental!

Frost/Nixon is one of my favorites movies of the year, with "Doubt", with Meryl Streep and Phillip Seymour-Hoffman.

  • ill tell you my favorite movies of 2008 would have to be Tropic thunder and Dark Knight and Forgetting Sarah Marshall awesome movies

  • No, trust me. Heath was bloody insane! Take a look at him in ten things I hate about you and then take a look how fucking messed up he was in dark knight! He was such a psycho! Granted, Batman was a boring twat though.

  • michael sheen deserved the oscar nod.

  • all thoes performaces were great and u obviously didnt like heaths performance which is fine but dude u are 1 in a millone he would have won if he had died or not

  • I agree.

  • So are you saying anyone who doesn't like the same kinds of movies you do is shallow and narrow minded?

  • Haha ledger was good but he wasn't great. In fact if he didn't die i doubt he would even be nominated. And besides gnrrocks, Mickey Rorke, Sean Penn, Frank Langella, Richard Jenkins, Penelope Cruz, Kate Winslet, Robert Downey Jr, Philip Seymour Hofman, and most importantly Michael Shannon. He will win best supporting cuz he died and out of sympathy they will give him the award

  • dark knight was good, don't get me wrong, but i have to say this was a good year for movies. Maybe in like 2005 dk would have totally won but seriously with Frost/Nixon, Milk, Revolutionary Road, Doubt, Slumdog Millionare, The Reader, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, The Visitor, and Wall E all being released in the same year, Dark Knight just doesn't belong in the oscars

  • the dark knight had great directing and acting dude, ledger was better then anyone this year, actor or actress, leading or supporting

  • this movie could shock everyone and win
