Nadaka: vocal and guitar - Gopika: vocal - In sanskrit Shantakaram means " the embodiment of peace" This ancient Vedic Mantra taken from the Upanishads is an invocation to Vishnu who represents the omnipresent consciousness supporting the universe.
Flawless in composition and interpretation! Both bring forth so perfectly the rasa of mandakranta metre and the meaning of the mantra. I wish I could be blessed with more of such performances. May the peace of Vishnu imbibe our soul!
So perfect in every way. Thank you Nadaka. I am revisiting your videos and this was my first port of call.
Much love,
Stefanie (still in Scotland but wanting to come home in 2012)
