Being on manual what are your settings on your Nikon? Metering and Focusing, what about C,S or M out front?
Thanks

@ibleedredwhitendblue hes at 8,000 ISO cuz he gotta compensate for the low light AND the shutter speed hes using... u can go 3200 ISO and a 1/200 shutter and it would be almost the same as this image... depends on the movements of the subject... the more faste the person is moving the faster the shutter speed so the more ISO to compensate... if u have a low Fstop lense like at 2.5 or less... u would not have any problem with a 3,200 ISO

would i have any issues taking pictures of concerts with a nikon D40? I wanted to ask cause you said that you captured this photo at ISO 8,000. I can crank my ISO up to 3200. Is that an issue?

which metering mode did you choose? What do you prefer for dark rooms or places?

Sound check to check lights. lol. XD
Hey Jared, great video once again. Just wondering what photo editing software for PC you recommend? On a consumer basis by the way, not professional. Thanks in advance.

My problem with shooting in manual is that sometimes it takes too long to adjust the settings. Like when I'm shooting outside and take a pic, then turn around, see something great, take a new pic and then realize that the exposure is off.
There's not always enough time to adjust the shutter speed, ISO etc and capture a specific moment. How much time do you need to adjust the settings? Or are you at a level where you don't even have to think about it and just do it..kinda like driving a car?

@Wuzzysbrand06 for concerts and things that I know are not going to change much i lock it in on manual. For outdoor stuff i do lock into a priority.

This is an awesome example of how powerful post-processing is. I looked at the original image, I honestly didn't like it. By the end of it, AMAZING.

@Lunaa3 thats why photography doesnt stop when you press the shutter. I know what my end result should look like and try to achieve it.
