Mass Effect Gameplay (PC) - Insanity, Done Solo! (part 2)

This video includes a full run of the Thorian Lair. This is a video showing more examples of how to solo Mass Effect's hardest difficulty, Insanity.

Among other things, this video shows how to solo the following:

1) Thorian Lair, full run (minus the 1st Asari Clone encounter - my squadmates kill her before I can instagib them, sorry).
2) More large Geth groups with Armatures/Destroyers/etc
3) More Krogans


Things worth noting:
1) I do not camp/turtle or take my time, I go all-out Rambo on everything. I rush in, engage all the enemies and then proceed to kill quickly, all with sustaining almost no damage to health.
2) I do not use cover and play peekaboo. I am almost always moving and in the enemy's line of sight. For any given area, you will not be looking at one spot the entire time.
3) Because this is true solo, the squadmates are always DEAD, not just flagged away. If you are wondering why, it is because I bound a key to a command that instagibs them.

What are the hardest battles in the game?

Also, is the solo insane battle vs. benezia not worth showing?

The hardest battle for a vanny would be the turrets on Luna's (Rogue VI) last base. That's shown in the 1st vid (link to it is in this video's info).

Yeah, compared to other fights, the Benezia fight is not worth showing. The 1st part is just me running around the catwalks, steamrolling everything.

The 2nd part is me casting Lift on Benezia, which instagibs her. I then proceed to kill the kittens-.. I mean, commandos.

Why do you choose incendiary rounds over the others?

Well, for one, it's a known bug that Shredder/Tungsten rounds do not add any damage to Carnage. Also, if I hit a Krogan when they're on the ground (happens more often than you think), they won't get up again this way.

Other than that, I guess I'm just lazy, and there's plenty of groups that are mixed (both Organics and Synthetics).

Fitness, Assault Training, Shock Trooper (at 20). Those talents I'd max out first.

Just pretty much spam immunity. Then get Frictionless Materials X on all weapons.

Or would it be to easy?

After all this is how I usually did insanity anyhow. I only relied on my party obviously for tech. And usually for CC. But I was fine without them as long as Immunity was up.

@SlicGW It isn't a bug. No ammo upgrades add damage to carnage or apply the effects. If you kill a krogan while he's on the ground or in the air with any ammo with a regular shot he will NOT second wind. If you carnage him while he's standing with inferno than he WILL second wind.

@misterh333 The Vanguard is a really good class, if you can play with them tough, since they play risky. But just check Mass Effect Wiki for all the classes, powers etc.
