My girlfriend remembers this from her childhood. Thanks so much for posting this!

It was filmed in the Palm Haven area of Willow Glen.

Years later, I met a woman, and we had a child together. We broke up, but when our son was about 11 years old. I went to her house and her sister was there. I saw a picture of two young girls wearing checkered jumpers. I asked them where they took that picture she said that they wore those jumpers to the Hocus Pocus Show.

My sister and I were on Hocus Pocus. I was 11 years old. He selected me to help him with the magic portion of the show. I was so nervous I could not stop laughing. I just stood there laughing.
I saw two girls wearing matching checkered jumpers. One was blond and had a really big smile and the other had dark hair. Somehow I remember walking to McDonalds after the show, and I saw the same two girls there eating lunch.

It looks like this was filmed on Hanchett Avenue or another street nearby. There are several streets in the neighborhood just off The Alameda near Race Street that are lined with palm trees. Also, it's close to KNTV's former studio at Park & Bird Avenues.

My cousin and I were on this show. My cousin got to be in the back with Buckaroo 500. During circle time we marched around and Hocus Pocus held my hand. I turned a hundred shades of red, but I was thrilled :) Thanks for the memories VittiVHS!
I told them that I remembered two little girls who looked exactly like them when I went on to the show. I tried to contact KNTV to find out if they had archives of the Hocus Pocus Show, but I was told they went out of business. I wonder if there are archives of that show anywhere.

@parsons1957 Thanks for writing. A friend in the TV business got this directly
from the TV station about 15 years ago, and as far as I know
this is all that's left . . . since this was long before VHS, of course.
But feel freel to contact them, of the San Jose Historical Society,
to see if there's anything else out there.
