Dwayne Roloson Amazing Save of The Year

Dwayne Roloson mis plays the puck behind the net and makes an unblievable stick save, followed by an on the line skate save. He was lucky and skilled in the process. New York Islanders vs. Tampa Bay Lightning on December 21 2009.

New York -- Dwayne Roloson made an incredible save when he dived back into the net after the puck took a wild bounce off the boards behind him and came out in front. Roloson lunged to block Steve Downie's attempt at a wide-open net and then added another crazy save when he used his left skate to deny Todd Fedoruk's try on the rebound.

The puck remained on the line as the Lightning celebrated what they thought was a goal. But play continued, and a lengthy video replay confirmed that the puck didn't cross the line.

Even if that did go in what a hell of an effort by Roloson. The guy might be 41 years of age, but man oh man is he quick. He never gives up. I hope this guy carries the Lightning far into the playoffs and he is able to win it all. He deserves it. And I am not a Tbay fan, but they have a great team.
