TV - Comedian Hennes Bender hat mir seinen Bass, eine Medium Scale Sonderanfertigung, für einen großen Spaß überlassen: Das Stück "Catcote Rag" von Colin Hodgkinson stammt noch aus alten Backdoor - Tagen...Hennes und ich kennen uns von einigen Blueskonzerten her......also, lieber Hennes, einen Blues für dich.....

    If you mean the tune where they all start together and do a 3 (or4!) note tune ( A C Csharp round and round) then that is Jive Grind.

    On the original Blakey label vynil (which I still have !) :)

  • This is a bass made especially for my friend Hennes Bender by a luthier in Berlin/Germany. Sorry, don't know his name. Hennes wanted a Fender-like bass, but a short-scale neck for a better playability.....it's one of the best sounding short scale basses I've ever played. It's the main axe of Hennes Bender and, yes, his name is written out on the headstock in the style of a Fender logo.....really cool.
