Hp pavilion g6 sound problem

The sound on my pc sometimes sound link this.
I have updated to latest bios and sounddrivers.
I still have problems with the sound in youtube and in games.

I returned it and got another model. That worked.

Before that I updated drivers - that did not help

Then the PC was send toHP repair where they changed a speaker - that dit not help.

Finally Bilka took it back and I got another HP model which worked well.

Yup. Had my g6 two days. I get same problems when on battery power. ok when plugged in. AMD mobile processors used to run at half-speed when on battery power - don't know if this is still the case or a possible cause....

I am having the same problems, it does this randomly. Is there any fix?

THEY NEED TO RECALL THE HP PAVLION G6 NOW! three family members received these for christmas, all of them had this sound issue, sounds freezes and stutters and then plays.....really annoying problem. refund..... thanks

I had the exact same problems. I took my HP g6 laptop back and got a brand new one exactly the same. again i had the same problems. I updated all windows update and its working fine now:) Follow @Anubis987 comment and your problems should be fixed:)

We had this problem with 2 identical laptops and installinng Windows Update fixed it on both. Thanks a lot Anubis987

I have the same problem on my g6 laptoptop. Thou I have found that when it is plugged into the mains the sound plays fine. still trying to find some kind of fix for it.

I bought my son one these for Xmas, same issue exactly. I took it back and exchanged it Boxing day and the replacement was the same too. It's nothing to do with ram ( stoopid comment ) It's faulty hardware., I exchanged my sons for a Vaio in the end, and whilst I was at PC world I counted 18 HP Laptop boxes on their returns shelves.

My brother got exactly the same laptop and had exactly the same issue. I downloaded every windows update available and so far the issue has been resolved. Theres usually an icon in the bottom right of your toolbar to install these but if not, try the following:

1. Click start.

2. In the 'search programs and files' bar, type 'windows update'.

3 Click on the windows update.

4. Install all updates.

5. Follow the steps onscreen.
