  • I spent alotta time learnig to bend pipe. Then MC cable came along. The only money savings I've seen MC cable get you is in labour. What you are looking at, is residential electricians using MC cable like Romex. Hence the mess.

  • @brkfstclub35 Yeah,do it fast and get it done is what I have been told by many a contractor.

  • Why do you complain so much about existing installations? Fix it and shut up!!!

  • @heighbabe40 My videos are about being aware of all types of conditions. Have you considered being helpful instead of degrading to others?

  • NEC 330.30 (D)(3)

Will not be inspected by a code inspector. :P

  • @SirDeanosity No worries, infact I am glad you mentioned it! I try to spread a little awareness so people will pay attention to details that lead to better work.

  • @sparkyUonline Bad implication on my part that use of MC is always messy. Sorry!

  • @SirDeanosity When used properly MC is a money saver!!!

  • MC = Messy Circuits

  • @drumrkane It's a ground wire going to the phone board w/o a bushing or bond bushing.

I have only seen the larger M/C in the supply houses. Pulled some 4/0 ser cable 90' once. What a PITA.
