@THERANDOMNESS84 No. Simple thing is you use vinegar. Not for flavour but vinegar holds the poached eggs.

Thats not how I do my poached eggs. She's saying you can flavour poached eggs. You can't because the gutherine of the egg can't hold. The only thing you can do with poached eggs is use vinegar. Vinegar will hold the egg together.

there freaking disgusting.
Add white vinegar to the water and make sure you don't add salt cause salt will make them fall apart. Swirl the water and gently drop the eggs into the centre, cook for two minutes.

You can also try stirring the water rather quickly before you add the egg. The whirling motion makes the egg wrap around itself.
