Imagine this. Your car got impounded and they thought that cell was a bomb. HA =D They'd be pissed off at you. You'd be pissed off at them...cause they had to blow up your car with a bomb squad robot. =\ and your cut rate insurance policy doesn't cover it... =O

@dzgfdg YES!!! the Urea actually makes the reaction much more effiecient.
-
tap water use it or use salt water (mix salt and distilled water dont use actual sea water)
-
please i want to no if u could use urine as the fuel...considering the fact that it already has salts in it
-
dude use distilled water and add some sea salt to it.
-
how do you charge certain plates negative positive and neutral?
-
its actually red water...you took the healthy green algae from the pond, and turned it red by causing it to produce its own chemicals that are used by pharmaceutical companies to make pills.
-
Rain water! How about some distilled water and sodium bicarbonate?

I am building a unit with 304 stainless plates.I have read that for optimum generation a gap of .048"-.063" is required. I plan on selling the plates already to assemble(cutting stainless is a bitch)then i found an article saying that using stainless produces hexavalent chromium in the electrolyte which causes cancer and is considered extremely deadly to internal organs! have you

what grade of SS are you using? 304,316? Along with the pond water, the grade of SS will make a difference as well. L316 being the best.Looks like you have a lot of iron in your water. Pond,Tap,spring water has minerals and such and lower grades of stainless has amounts of ferrite that leech out through the electrolizing process. Rain water is a good idea as well. I use L316, Ti(type 2)Distilled
water. 10 grams KOH per gallon. Hope that helps. Nice build too!

thanks, im using 316 food grade stainless. the green gunk is algae growth from the heat over a periond of 3 days. around where i live they have to put alot of algaecide in the tap water. my tap water has a ton of electrolites in it and rain water gives me the most freedom to "tune" my electrolite consistantly
