B&H Photo Video SuperStore Takes Snow Days?

Vlog 57 is my second to last day in NYC. I travel 17 blocks in a blizzard to buy a Pelican case from either B&H Photo Video or Adorama. Which is more professional during a snow storm? I'll give you a hint: buy your photo/video equipment at http://www.adorama.com/

Lmao!! B&H has never closed for a snow day!! Believe me I know. I used to pray they did but them bastards were always open!! Nothing keeps them from business except Jewish Holidays.

@quietbeauty11 I guess it was a good combination of the two reasons that did it. Being on the cusp of Purim and a snowy Friday lead to their decision to remain closed that morning. Such is life sometimes. I'm still thankful Adorama took care of me that day!

You mentioned this was the weekend, but B&H is closes every single Friday at 2PM and is never EVER open on Saturday, and it's been like that forever.  If you were there between 2pm Friday and 10am Sunday, they were closed because they are always closed at those times. Snow or no snow

@Sakamachi25 I am aware of B&H's hours and I respect and admire their dedication to their religion that dictates those hours. I was there at approx. 9AM Friday morning. Aside from never opening on that day due to some snowflakes B&H had always been the best photo-video store I patronized. Great service, selection and free shipping!

B&H closes at 1 PM on Fridays. Adorama doesn't come close to the amount of employees B&H has. With that said, 80% of B&H employees commute. Now, think about having over 1700 employees come in from 9 AM to 1 PM during a blizzard with no way to commute. I think it was a pretty smart choice to close.

@Tang0Fox1 "Purim" began at sundown that Friday. However this video was shot at approx. 9AM Friday morning. The signage B&H had posted everywhere said they would have regular Friday hours (9AM-2PM) that day and be closed until the following Wednesday. Due to snow, they just never opened at all.
