Give Love A Chance {A JoBros LS} Chapter 1

[Ashley's P.O.V]
*FLASHBACK*
" Um, Nick.. I wanna tell you something." I stuttered
" What is it Ash?" he said looking at me.
" I like you, I like like you." I said
" I like you too Ash. But as a friend, right?' he asked
"Yeah. Just friends..." I sighed
" TAG! You're it!" he yelled
"NO! You're it!!!" I yelled back, running after him.
*END FLASHBACK*
That was us, 6 years ago. Wow... a lot has changed...
" Ash!" Nick yelled
"Huh?" I said coming back to reality
" Were you listening?" he asked
" Yeah, you said you wanted to meet at our spot so we could talk." I replied
"Ok, see you in 10?" he asked
"Yeah, 10" I said
"Okay, bye." he replied
"Bye..." I said
Our spot? That was the park just outside our neighborhood. I threw on some skinnes, a red tee, and my fave converses. My mom already knew that I wsa going to the park 'cause if I was going elsewhere I told her. I ran out the door and down the street to the park. Nick saw me and waved.
"Hey." i said breathlessly
"Hey!" he said
"What did you want to talk about?" I asked
"Here sit..." he sighed. I sat down and he sat next to me.
"Ok. What is it?" I asked
"I'm going on tour...." he sighed
"Really? How long?" I asked, trying to sound happy for him.
"Uh, 3 months." he said
"Oh. Congradulations... I guess." I replied
" I'm gonna miss you, Ash." he said looking into my eyes
" I'm gonna miss you too, Nick." I said looking into his smoldering eyes.
"Good to know." he said smiling. He grabbed my face and kissed me. When he pulled away Iwas speechless. Not only was he an amazing kisser but I was utterly confused.
"Uh, I'd better walk you home now." he said
" Right." I said
We walked home in silence. The only thing I heard was my own thoughts. Hectic and choppy. We were on my porch.
"I'll see you off. Tomorrow, right?" I said.
"Yeah, tomorrow." he replied looking at his feet.
"Well, bye then.." I said turning to open my front door. But Nick grabbed my arm and pulled me back. Before I could say anything else, he kissed me again.
"Bye." he said before walking away.

[Nick's P.O.V]
I walked in the house and Joe and Kevin looked at me.
" So you and Ashely are official now?" Joe asked
"N-No.Why?" I replied
" 'Cause we saw you kiss her" Joe said.
" Uh...I-I it's not what you think..." I stammered
"Nick, we all know you like her... Even Mom Knows." Kevin chimed
" Sorry honey. They got it out of me." my mom called from the living room
" You wrote 'Just Friends' about her didn't you?" Joe asked
"...Ok. yeah." I sighed
" Aw. How cute!" Joe said laughing.
" This is why I didn't tell you!" I yelled at him
"Sorry, dude. Calm down!" Joe said
" Whatever..." I said going up to my room to finish packing.
[Ashley's P.O.V]
The next day Nick and I shared a tearful goodbye.
"I'll call you everyday."he offered.
" ok, I'll answer." I replied
"Ha Ha Very funny" he said. I started crying.
" What's wrong?" he asked
"I-I'm just scared you'll be a different person when you come back." I cried
"I won't be a different person." he replied puting a hand on my shoulder.
"You promise?" I asked
"Yes, I promise." he replied. I kissed him.
"Good Luck." I said before walking to the sidewalk. He got on the bus as it prepared to drive away. I waved at him and he waved back. I thought I saw a tear run down his cheek.
I was really gonna miss him...
