It's a good song and perfectly sung by Amy - the girl has a great voice. I agree, I think her lyrics are very poetic and deep. I find few songwriters in popular music write meaningful lyrics anymore. Thank goodness we have songwriters like Amy.

These "Italia" live performances are the best versions of the songs. It's amazing these vids only have a few thousand hits each, people are missing out on the best version of their favorite song.
You probably won't believe me but there is a youtube lady who sings a version of this song that is astoundingly beautiful, do a search for eyolan you will be very glad you did

I've seen so many ugly comments on other posts of this song. I'm so happy to find a group that "gets it" and another poster that has actually been on lithium and understands how it destroys the creative process. This is so powerful. I'm moved beyond words.

this song really feels like lithium. reminds me of the times I laid on my bed in such a lost and dead state. great version, I prefer intimate and acoustic versions over studio recordings anytime!
