Part 1: Sri Daya Mata Memorial Service

Part 1 of 11. Thousands of members and friends of Self-Realization Fellowship/Yogoda Satsanga Society of India from all over the world joined the monks and nuns of SRF at a memorial service to honor the life of our beloved president and sanghamata, Sri Daya Mata, one of the earliest and foremost disciples of Paramahansa Yogananda.

The memorial service took place at the Civic Auditorium, Pasadena, California, on December 12, 2010.

Speakers (in order of appearance): Brother Vishwananda, Sister Preeti, Monks' Kirtan Group led
by Brother Devananda, Brother Achalananda, Brother Chidananda, Sister Bhakti, Swami
Smaranananda, Swami Shraddhananda (fire ceremony).

How blessed. I am sorry I did not know of her until after her passing. I have visited the Yogananda in the Great Mausoleum. For those of you who have experienced her blessing and presence, be with God.

Thank you, Thank you... for sharing the life of a great Yogini Daya Mata. She was a living proof of Daya ( Kindness) and she relentlessy followed the teachings of her Guru. Through her example she inflamed our hearts with God & Gurus love and blessings. This video is a special blessing to me and to all true seekers around the world...who couldn't be present at the memorial service.
