Flip Mino HD: Video Test

The folks over at Puredigital have given me the opportunity to review the new Flip Mino HD. This, the latest flip camcorder, now boasts 720p resolution. But how does it really look?

Does the Flip make the video a bit shaky? I noticed in this video, the picture was a bit unstable. But, I noticed you said it was cold, so you may have been shaking for a reason :) Nice video by the way!

Yes, it was me. This camera doesn't have any image stabilization options so the lightest movement when recording will result in that movement in the video.

Shaky because it's so light, you need a tripod or a steady-cam for it. You can make a steadycam yourself cheap and easy. All you really need is to have something connected to it that is a pole that weights it down so that when you move your hands, it will have to move the weight as well.

How is Fios? We were going to get it but it's not available yet. We do have 20mb but Fios sounds more stable.
