lol i love this and will never forget this about Ottumwa, IA. We do this even during the worse storms that may produce tornados. We all go outside and watch the sky lmao.

Yea, my mom was to afraid to go with us to the movies at Ottumwa 8 theater because it is below ground level and so close to the river. Hahaha, we missed a perfectly good viewing of Get Smart!

The river is starting to go down now, I think the damage will be minimal. We were very lucky. Areas like Cedar Rapids and Iowa City were hit really hard.
