  • I bought Ponta the Smith's DVD Sick. He uses these huge coins for some routines. I did a search and think they're replica Morgan or Eisenhower dollars. I don't know if it's my small hands but I find a typical dollar coin size too small. Is that a typical coin you're using?

  • @remlya I use 1943 standing liberty half dollars. You certainly don't need to use those, I just like the way they look and and sound. You can use kennedy halfs just as well. Good news is you can get them from any bank and they'll run you 2 bucks.

  • @alanpaoletti What costs 2 bucks from banks?

  • @MrMacgeek1 4 american half dollars.

  • nice, but a little obvious.

  • @PaulTheillusionist obvious how Paul?

  • only obvious to other magicians that know a litle bit about coin magic but not obvious to laymen :) nice job

  • You could hear the coin touching your ring, but the rest of the trick was great....I am going to be putting a YouTube channel called Peezytricks which will be about magic and playing cards, just saying you inspired me to do magic....if u culd mention Peezytricks in one of your vids I will be grateful...I am putting the account up in a week maybe sooner...my name is Alex by the way....keep up the good work.

  • By showing your hands empty you are asking the audience to find the trick, Instead just let your hands naturally show themselves empty without giving too much attention to it, It might have been easier with patter too. One coin routines are incredible hard.

  • @alanpaoletti The part I felt was obvious was when you were gesturing with your right hand that it was empty and then performing the "move" (don't want to reveal it) to show that the left hand was empty.

  • @alanpaoletti Fun stuff. I don't see how this would be obvious to a layman, but any magician with a bit of knowledge about coin tricks could figure it out, as with most tricks out there. Though. why that matters I do not know. Who in their right mind performs for magicians, expecting to fool them?
