  • I think she is a wonderfully creative genius...and Mozart would have enjoyed it, I bet... Love her!

  • Mozart, the consumate improviser himself, would have loved this variation.

  • that was sexy

  • Thank God for recording media that you can listen to this more than once, smile and marvel at what she does, just as Mozart would have and does do...

  • j'admire, bien que ne trouve pas le rapport entre mozart et Besame Mucho

  • @marcxopoco show more respect!!! :) why do you ever think Mozart wouldn't have liked it?

  • @marcxopoco Dear marcxopoco, would you be kind enough to give the (many) clueless like me a few examples of improvisations for the "real" musicians ? I die to hear what they sound like....

  • "Improvisation" for the clueless (like coolguy).

  • @marcxopoco you are certainly a great musician....certainly much better than the thousands of idiots who acknowledge Gabriela's "formless improvisations" by standing ovations...you are even greater than Martha Argerich, who also loved them. Improvisation was part of classical music for centuries, until it died due to the "rigor" of "true musicians" who appreciate only canned music....Gabriela is just great, she brings us the joy of creation where so many other show only pain to play "well"

  • Mozart would have thrown up.

And told her to use six notes of a theme by someone else the next time she does her formless "improvising."

  • What is it with this basterdization of the works of the greatest composers?

She starts with a fragment of a motive by Mozart and then improvises in a partly jazz , partly South American Dance style.

I fail to see what the point is of her presuming to connect her improvisation with Mozart.
