    I basically made a big loop and knotted it following that, I made a small loop at the tip of the BIG loop I made.

    the end loop is to make it easier to remove the line from the SMB. Wearing gloves, a wet line, etc... you just won't want to fiddle with it, so it makes things quicker.

  • in my opinion, it is better if gate of double ender should clipped in, more secure

  • Large loop is ti fit the spool through the line to attach to SMB. Small loop on end or "woody" is to make it easier to grab end of line to pull it back through if required. Try it
