Wrong, most efficiant technique, get a ladder...
Great videos, incredibly inspiring. Thanks for posting, giving me ideas for my training

hmm, the muscle-up is often fast if done well, but I agree that it spends a lot of energy. if you are strong, use the muscle-up when going fast, but if you are weaker or doing endurance, use the 'most efficient' technique

It may be more efficient to just spend a few months training muscle ups, then to platform muscle ups

You can easily break your arms if you slip, climbing like that, or even fall flat on your face.
I'm a traceur, so here's one easy technique/tutorial:
Just search: Wall Climb Tutorial, and click on the first one ;)
Your techniques are good when you don't have much muscle (you'll still struggle), and if you climb like shown in the 1st *valid* technique several times in a row, you could easily hurt yourself.

Great video. I just did Erwan's course at the StrengthBox in Toronto. It was awesome.

I used to love doing this stuff when I was a kid. I used to never understand why the others kids couldn't keep up.

Fantastic vid. And damn where do you live to have such great play stuff??
I think the most efficient technique is to simply pull up and bring your hips to the bar and let gravity pull you over backwards. It works better on rounded surfaces, but I'm sure it would have worked well here too. It's what the kids are taught in gymnastics when they have neither the strength to do a muscle up or any of the variations you demonstrated.

@eightyeightdays yes, we learned that technique, too. I just didn't demonstrate it in this vid - good suggestion!
