ORIGINALLY UPLOADED on March 10thh 2008, on my former account bendaimmortal.
English translated lyrics are after this description.
He left to Neverland as a happy easy-going kid with adventures in his mind. After the night he found out he had been forgotten and replaced he still was that but a great pain came along.
The gray moments at Wendy's home/window are moments in his past when he was at his own window, trying to return home but his mother did not see or hear him, just walked away. and there was another child sleeping in his bed. The first of that is the moment they sing "The moon is coloring all the shadows blue, while he's left alone out there.", the rest are of the chorus "it hurts, but walk anyways..."
He found Wendy to make it all better, but when Wendy was to leave he REALLY didn't care anymore but would have rather died. And, finally, the ONLY bit of hope in this song "It hurts, but walk anyways, you can always turn around" fits in a way he always had the possibility to choose his way though any way he goes he bears the hurt inside, but there is one way it much lesser.
Here is some kind of translation into english -- it doesn't fit the tune but is meant to give you some idea of what they're singing:
"The wanderer has nowhere to go,
when he has reached the end.
The moon is coloring all the shadows blue, while he's left alone out there.
Far away in some lonely,
the warmth burns out in darkness.
Awakes the hunger in his frozen body, that has lived on air and water.
It hurts, but walk anyways, you can always turn around.
It hurts, but walk anyways, you are here and came as a wanderer.
The bell is calling for a lonely soul,
it has borrowed comfort from death.
Want it good or want it bad,
our destiny's approaching.
Quit thinking it's tough anyways,
you gotta take it day by day.
The wanderer has nowhere to go,
as he goes at the last hour.
It hurts, but walk anyways, you can always turn around.
It hurts, but walk anyways, you are here and came as a wanderer.
It hurts, but walk anyways, you can always turn around.
It hurts, but walk anyways, you are here and came as a wanderer."
That translation is by YouTube user Breedo, I just corrected grammar and changed some words.

@Zzleeping I repeat; if you've seen the movie & read the description box, you ought to see how this song fits the video and character. If you don't, try reading the novel by J.M. Barrie to which this movie is very faithful to. As for the literal video foorage vs. lyrics, at points you need to to think metaphorically, not everything is always literally thrown at your face. ;) In this, knowing the real story helps a lot. Fuck Disney, it has nothing to do with the real Peter Pan.

I'm so used to English so i didn't realize it was a Swedish song, but when I was in the middle, I said to myself, "Wait a minute this is not English". Sweden FTW
