...but it's all cheap compared to the cost of buying them. i am assuming you're making pavers here and not building walls! have fun...

9tee...with the p gravel its up to you really. the gravel in a mix is just considered to be like a larger version of sand itself. the sand is the smallest aggregate and the p gravel the larger. under microscope it all forms a matrix. if the grains are all varying size and shape ('sharp' washed sand is best) then they effectively interlock and cause a very strong bond with the cement.try 2 aggregate/gravel,2 sand,1 cement.keep water to minimum workable amount.not sure on cost where you live...

@fleabags1971 Hi...it is Dec 18 2011... I just saw your info/comment here...& I want your further info...Doozoo ... you say 3-sand to 1 concrete... OK. but...what about if you put 'P' gravel in the mix? Please tell me that 'ratio' I plan to build w/cement/concrete & w/re-bar & I am now collecting info to calculate: whats needed & the cost. You seem friendly & knowledgeable.
