ive had a sun conure should i get a goffin cokatoo?

I haven't ever owned a bird or lived in a place with a bird before....it is better to get a goffin cockatoo or an eclectus? Should I start off with a different, smaller bird?

I have 2 parakeets. A friend is offering us her Goffins cockatoo for free plus a cage. She doesn't want it since it tries to attack her other cockatoos. Should I take it? I have read a lot about them and I know I would care for it well.

mine waves its head back and fourth just like all other goffins i see on youtube,kinda weird but its still very neat.

@Mobilebird What you are saying is that a beginner should practice with cockatiels first. Wow what a crappy reason for buying cockatiels, practice. "Sorry Cockatiels, I'm done practicing, now it time to get a real bird. See ya!" Tiels are just as complicated, have just as much personality, and require the same care as any other parrot. If you get cockatiels get them because you want a pet to love and care for, not to throw away when your done "practicing".

haha I showed this video at work the other day and everyone loved it. I watch it like... everyday cause it makes me smile. my goffin is named Fantasia "Tasia" for short. her trying to say her name is comical. but she tries.
