A Reflexologist works with the meridians of the body, the nervous system, and the lymphatic system. By keeping these energy channels open we restore/maintain balance. Clients often report that the sensation feels more 'profound' than massage alone. Distributed by Tubemogul.

  • I just looked this up and it's really interesting! Apparently the Cherokee tribes of North America practiced a form of it, and passed it down.

  • @pavornoct Hello - Thanks for commenting! I'm totally interested in your reference to the Cherokee having their own form of Reflexology. Can you send me a link for this info?

    Thanks,

  • You looked so relaxed! and almost falling asleep after the reflexology session...barely able to talk heheh. Very cool :)

  • Brilliant! Thumbs Up!

  • I was told one of the reasons native americans wore moccasins was not only for protection, but the soft leather allowed you to really feel and connect with the earth. Each step was virtually allowing you to be 'reflexed' by the earth!

Thanks for watching my reflexology segment with Peter Bedard!

  • @CreateYourHealth I found it right in the middle of the Wikipedia article actually - It's under Claimed mechanisms of operation.
