The pitch, modulation and pronunciation all show this is NOT SPB. And the title is funny. If SPB did sing this song, why call it the unsung series. perhaps it would be accurate in a way since SPB did not sing this song.
By the way can someone share when and where SPB supposedly sang this version?

This a karaoke version of the song. Notice the tempo is faster than the original. And this is definitely not SPB.

superb rendition by SPB in his own style......it really makes me like sitting in the heaven by listening to this song.....music is also very nicely composed by Illiyaraja
