He always substituted "launder my clothes" for "powder my nose" on TV. Does anyone know if this was required by censors?

@blondie1159 Well if we're quoting lyrics Blondie...
Lord have mercy, I know what I'm doing
I don't need an alibi, I need a fire escape, open window
It's my problem, nothing I can't deal with
I'm not chasing anything, just jogging baby, what's your bag?
Shame on the UK for only getting this fab song to 46 in the charts, despite exposure on national TV.

Excuse me one moment whilst I...launder my clothes.
Buahahahahahaha!

Clearly about a coke habit, all the rage in the 1980's.

Lloyd is married to a girl from Buffalo, 5 min from here. Also: "Walking my bag through a 20 story non stop snow storm" is clearly about sharing coke with his pals in a NYC high rise. Not handbags. Come on.
