@ohara411 The only writers I'm aware of are Jim Fritzell & Everett Greenbaum; I know Gene Reynold (who was instrumental in bringing M*A*S*H to TV) also directed a small number of Andy episodes. Actually, a lot of the crew from Hogan's Heroes went on to M*A*S*H in the early seasons, including Reynolds.

poor lil' Opie,I've always loved him. Ron Howard was and is, so gifted. This is such a great episode. I never get tired of these!!!
