@monkeysign123, Yes they are good, if you don't mind cover bands, but when I know the REAL DEAL WAR artists are still here to perform their WAR songs, that fake "WAR" with only one original WAR artist that you saw in Seattle just burns me up! Living off the fame of the WAR name, while the OG's in this video are forgotten. And about Sal, you don't really need his autograph, because he's not OG WAR

I just saw the band "WAR with Lonnie and others play up in Saettle. Yeah, they were good. But before the show I got into a little tiff with the drummer "Sal" from Tiajauna. I don't pay for autographs! I didn't think this was the original band WAR, even though they played very well. Some of the guys seemed too young to be original members.

@OGsRule, Like your name. Thanks for respecting what is original and real. You're right, we must never forget Sylvester "Papa Dee" Allen on percussion/congas and Charles Miller on sax/flute. Sadly, they both passed away long ago, but their spirit always lives on in the WAR music they helped to create. Jerry Goldstein, WAR's supposed friend and "manager" owns/stole the rights to the WAR name and copywrites. So I wouldn't be surprised if the OG's couldn't even use THE MUSIC BAND name as well. Peace.

@lowriderbandfan Your,re right ese, I dig the old WAR ! Orale . you guys left out 'Papa' Dee Allen the vato that percussionist that jammed ontthe congas/bongos and always proudly wore his traditional -classy dude! So, who owns the "Music Band" rights? That would've been a good name to -- -naw! olvidalo!

Man that is so smooth...nice to hear the sound again
@evj64 Lonnie doesn't own the rights to the name WAR. The THIEF of the WAR name & copywrites, Jerry Goldstein does. Lonnie sold his SOUL to this evil man, and that's why we WAR fans get to hear a cover band with the stolen name WAR. There are 4 ORIGINAL WAR artists in this vid, guitar-Howard Scott, drums-Harold Brown, bass-BB Dickerson, harmonica-Lee Oskar. THESE gentlemen MADE the WAR name famous, NOT Jerry's hired hands. Stop giving your WAR propers to the WRONG band and learn the TRUTH.

@evj64 Lonnie was never the leader. The band was a collective. The band wrote the songs together during jam sessions. Most of the ideas came from Howard Scott, Charles Miller, Lonnie Jordan, Lee Oskar & Harold Brown. Look at any writing credits you'll see everyone's names. Lonnie didn't even lead sing all of the songs. Charles Miller lead sung Low Rider. B. B. Dickerson lead sung All Day Music & World Is A Ghetto. And everyone sung on Slippin' Into Darkness, Cisco Kid & Why Can't We Be Friends?
