You have to tell it the channel numbers of your favorites it does not know out of the box this chimerical is misleading. But still it's a great remote is it would last more then 2 years without some of the buttons failing to operate when they get used a lot and the contacts on the circuit board wear off.

Cool remote; bought one just a week before X10 released their new Nstinct remote. Can someone tell me what the difference between the iconRemote and the Nstinct is, aside from esthetics?
