@thrasherx2k1 They surveyed again today and did confirm a brief EF0 tornado in the area but lifted once it hit the fire department and the damage at the apartment complex was just hit by a microburst. I could confirm I did see a funnel cloud halfway to the ground as it passed over us.

@Pokemon978IsBackOn National weather service confirmed it was straight line winds in the roscoe and machesney park area causing damage. Only confirmed tornado in the area was a F1 in the Mt Morris and Polo area...

@candicewho I was talking to a lady that came from California and when she got off the plane and headed to rockford the storm hit, she was also stuck on the interstate, but she said she didn't stop, i was kinda impressed she could still drive....

I'm in Roscoe, and we got hit by a rain wrapped tornado. We heard the wind as it was arriving, and we knew we were screwed. But there wasn't any damage, except that a chair was thrown around the yard. Went through my neighborhood, and saw that some siding was gone on many houses, and leaves were on roofs. So I go down to Dairy Queen on my way to school, and see a huge metal pole. I think that was the flagpole. Fire department nearly destroyed, and neighborhood down by Culvers is damaged. Badly.

@jrjohnson735 yes ideed, my friend was on the highway when it happened and there was a motorcycle infron of him...the guy got off his bike when the storm hit...the bike went flying....crazy
