This is a great version. Sultans of Swing will always hold a dear place in my heart and I would like to thank DogSwede1 and the many other knopfler fans out there for these enjoyable video's.
I always sit and wonder if Mark himself ever hop's on Youtube and listens to his own stuff from these time's?

It looks like David's Strat might have been customized at some point. It looks like those holes in the pickguard where a couple slide switches (like you find on the Fender Mustang) might have been installed, but it looks like they had been removed by the time this video was made.
I think David had the guitar refinished, because I'm sure I've seen a photo of him playing a brown Strat with those switches in place, so he may have had them removed at the same time the guitar was refinished.
