Lansley's white paper: "Liberating the NHS"
sets out a plan where we'll become more like the U.S.
and care will be farmed out to private companies,
who will sell their service to the NHS via the Gps,
who will have more to do with service purchase arrangements
than anything to do with seeing their patients.

He's been given cash
by John Nash,
chairman of Care UK:
a private healthcare provider,
who, if they have their way,
will be the biggest beneficiaries
of conservative Lib Dem policies
to privatise healthcare and pull apart the welfare state.

These plans have been slagged by patient organisations,
charities and unions,
nursing and medical institutions.
The Royal College of GPs even joined the attack,
looked closely at the proposals
and said they were crap.
Say yes for the NHS, Andrew Lansley can suck on David Cameron's breast.
His quest is for the rich to pay less, and the poor have to stress, it'll be one big mess.

I love this track. Hope you're preparing for the next rap about the NHS now that Jeremy Hunt has taken over and is expected to carry on the destruction that lansley legislated for. I'm sure you could have lots of fun with the name Hunt!

Sadly they got what they wanted, i just never expected the Lib-Dems to be helping the Conservatives push the knife in to the NHS, but they were arguably even more enthusiastic about the sell-off than the Tories, and Labour say they will reverse the bill if they get in, but that could mean anything.

I feel very sad i had to witness the sell-off of what is in my opinion the world's greatest, altruistic organisation, it was robbery basically, the British people have had their greatest asset stolen

You have to wonder whether these days some political parties don't aim for power just to get their hands on public (taxpayer) assets in order to to hand them over cheaply to their friends and supporters in the private sector - a kind of licensed theft.

The Guardian on 18th May states that that "on Monday the government slipped out the news that private insurer BUPA was approved to access England's "sensitive and identifiable" patient date housed centrally by the Health and Social Care information Centre.

The private sector does not direct resources where they are needed but where there's a profit to be made. The NHS does have price and cost information because, at great administrative exepense, it has been forced into a market type contracting model of care. That's where most of the bureaucracy lies.

Since when did Privatisation EVER produce good value?

Train tickets soared.

Energy bills rocketed.

Profit driven private healthcare in USA costs each American over $4,000 MORE then the NHS costs each Brit. For that extra cash they get similar staffing levels, a lower life expectancy, a higher infant mortality, 50 million uncovered, millions more underinsured, and health bills being the top reason for bankruptcy and homelessness.

EVERY POUND PUT INTO PROFIT IS A POUND TAKEN AWAY FROM CARE.
