I don't know if the videos is a rip off. After all creativity can only progress so far. Look at Dani California and Last Dance with Mary Jane. Two different songs, with the same guitar chords. Either way, 40 Years brought me to this, and I think this is a BAD ASS song.

As expected this guy's little bitch fit about TPF caused no major waves, I guess Thomas was just trying to get some airtime, Saw him just before the quake playing his shit song's on the street. p.s this song sound's like someone swallowed a counting crows album and barfed it up again.

I think Taika ripped off this vid subconsciously, he's a nice dude. It just sucks that his vid had money thrown at it and subsequently the idea was realised a bit better because of funding. Personally I think Coffey's vid had cooler moments in a more hostile, live environment. There's more charm in DIY. Sadly money has added to the cutesy charm of the PF clip...
