Ipods break like a bitch, I had to buy 2 new one's in the past year. 3rd gen classic, and 1st gen nanos were less breakable with syncing. . which the cable syncing for me become the issue EVERy 6 MONTHS.

@osamaFXX Well, I actually like this one more than the Classic. I have a friend who has this and another with the Classic. The touch pad can do more, it looks MUCH nicer (in my opinion), I believe it has a better radio, better headphones, bigger screen, etc... But iPod's dominate every other Zune. My bro has a Zune 3G 8GB and my Nano 4G 8GB is MUCH Better. My iPod Touch 4G is epic. :D

yes, i have a 30 gb zune and they can be updated to the same firmware (3.1) as the new ones
-
I was wondering if the old 1st gen 30g models can support the firmware updates?

Yes, it comes with a USB sync cable, which charges your Zune when you connect it to a PC.
There is an AC charger that is available separately.

If you need a small player and don't need to load a ton of content (e.g. videos) on it, go with an 8gb or 16gb. (The 4gbs are older models and harder to find.)
If you want a higher-capacity player, and want the larger screen, go with an 80gb, or an 120gb if you can afford it.
